1. Explore beautiful bays around the village
Those who wish to spend a day swimming and sunbathing will find Sućuraj as very attractive place, because there are more than 25 km of shore with picturesque sand, pebble or stone beaches and bays. Some of them have public beaches, but in most you can enjoy the wilderness of untouched nature. Sućuraj's coastline expands on both the north and the south side of the island of Hvar, which is a great advantage. If the south wind blows, there is calm sea on the north side and vice versa, so the pleasure is guaranteed no matter the conditions. You can spend your day on the beach near the town centre or find a hidden corner just for yourself. With the exception of the harbor, swimming is possible everywhere in the area in or near Sućuraj. We give our guests a possibility to rent a boat for whole day or if they don't feel comfortable sailing on there own we can drive them and pick up later.
2. Try traditional dalmatian cuisineBecause our goal is to provide memorable holidays and fulfilled experience to each guest, we also give a possibility of tasting the Mediterranean specialties.
Fresh fish and shells served with vegetables and fruits from our garden are one of the many dalmatian specialties you won't resist. Because it is flavored with high quality domestic olive oil and vinegar, the salt from Ston (the purest in the Mediterranean), balanced taste is granted. |

3. Listen good music
Fishermen's night – Kind of a folk party were local entertainers performs and we organize it 3 times during July and August. The program usually begins at 6 pm and visitors can enjoy grilled fish and wine. Besides food, drinks, music and dancing visitors can buy a lottery with great prizes such as products and services of local businessmen (dinners in restaurants, boat trips, gift packets etc.).
Concerts – A few times during the summer visitors have opportunity to listen traditional Dalmatian music as we call it ''Klapa'', a group of 5 to 8 singers performing traditional Dalmatian polyphonic singing. Although their singing is originally a Capella, the band often uses instruments like mandolin or guitar, which gives the songs a special flair.

Tam Tam Music Festival - Music festival with alternative rock performers and DJ's. It's usually organized first weekend in August on Sućuraj's football field. On August 3rd 2012, in front of 400 visitors, festival was held for the first time and because of the two TAM lorries were the stage was made, the name was never in question – the Tam Tam Music Festival was born.
Theatre performances – during the summer a numerous theater troops travel trough the Croatian coast and perform usually pieces to entertain the children.

4. Explore old pathsThose who love cycling, jogging and hiking can enjoy more than 40 km of paths surrounding the town. Old paths, used before by local farmers to reach olive and grape tries, have been expanded in the last few years for fire protection use.
Unique experience of wild nature, outstanding colors and odors is granted for adventurers who choose this kind of recreation. Also, we highly recommend visiting the hill above Sućuraj where you can enjoy in extraordinary panoramic view of the town and surrounding islands. |

5. Visit Humac - a stone villageHumac is an uninhabited hamlet on island Hvar, located 350 m above sea level, 50 km from Sućuraj. All houses here are made of stone in its surroundings called trim, built without binder in a way that they become narrower towards the top. Many of them have their original foundations from early Stone Age. Inhabitants of Humac have been occupied with cattle and wine growing for thousands years, and in around 1950 they started growing lavender. Expect tourists enjoying vacation in these stone houses, Tavern "Humac" is open for visitors offering Croatian specialties. Except beautiful views of surrounding islands on the hill above Humac, there is also old church available for sightseeing and Grapčeva cave, typical cave in Dalmatian rocks with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites and represents one of the most important archaeological sites in Croatia.
